Multifunction intelligent controller for automatic control and full electrical protection of
two direct-start three-phase pumps (0.75kW to 15kW). Designed for twin-pump booster,
borehole and irrigation systems using duty/standby or alternating operation.

What this controller is designed for

This PW Intelligent Controller is designed to control and protect a
twin-pump (dual pump) three-phase 380V system.
It is typically used where reliability is important—one pump runs as the primary pump
and the second pump serves as standby, or the controller alternates between pumps to balance run-time.

Note:

Twin pump control is normally used for duty/standby or alternating operation.
If you require both pumps to run together at the same time (true parallel boosting),
confirm this requirement before ordering so we supply the correct setup.

How twin (dual) pump operation works

  • Duty/Standby: Pump 1 runs normally; Pump 2 takes over if Pump 1 faults or cannot meet demand.
  • Alternating: The controller alternates between Pump 1 and Pump 2 to equalise wear and run hours.
  • Fault handling: In the event of a fault (phase loss, over-current, dry-run, etc.), the controller alarms and can switch to the standby pump (if configured).
